Dr. David Byland, has been teaching since 1983 and joined the OBU faculty in 1991. He served as President of the Broadcast Education Association (http://www.beaweb.org) for 2006-2007 and was the 2000-2001 president of the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association. He currently serves as the founding editor of the OBEA's Journal of Media Education. Dr. Byland teaches classes in Electronic Media Production as well as courses in the Communication Arts Core.
